A great fall smoothie
8-10 tart apples, pared, cored, and thinly sliced (6 Cups)
3/4 to 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
4 tbsp Four
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Dash Ground Nutmeg
2 Pillsbury Pie Crusts (Ready to bake/Refrigorated)
This is really good, we usually have it at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I just decided to have it anytime.
Nice healthy substitute for regular pumpkin pie. You will never have to miss out on that spicy pumpkin taste again!

In this recipe you make your own stock from boiling the bones, some meat and skin. I have added "canola oil" to my nutritional calculator to encompass the natural fats that will boil out while making the soup.
