Adapted from Kristen's RAW Recipe, I only swapped out some of the Dates for prunes because I didn't have enough of the Dates to finish the recipe.

They still came out delicious and because of the Prunes this was less in calories.

I am not vegan, trust me, and when my vegan coworker brought these in I was skeptical. But man are they delicious! I edited the recipe a little (using applesauce instead of oil and almond milk instead of hazelnut) so feel free to amend. It is also easy to make gluten free! As a kid, I was always fascinated with the carrots made out of frosting that adorned the top of carrot cake. This version, made without eggs or dairy but with nutritious carrots, pumpkin, whole grains, and applesauce is reasonably healthy (for a dessert, that is) without sacrificing taste! Use your favourite icing, or just dust some powdered sugar over it.

This is great when you need a cookie fix. You won't even believe how good they taste! Chocolate Chip cookies are my favorite and now I have these delectable little treats!!

Take bananas freeze them for 15 - 20 minutes. Pop the bananas in the food processor to make a soft serve mixture, add some cookie dough to it and you have a dairy queen blizzard.

This makes about 51/2 quarts. I figure 1 quart per 9" pie cut into 8 pieces to come up with a serving size. I like to pick apples for pie filling before they're quite ripe, since they have better flavor and texture for pie filling. You can use about any kind of apple, but stay away from Red Delicious and Fuji.
