I assure you, when using this particular ingredient, this recipe is gluten free. Again, my apologies.
This is a modification of a beef and mushroom stroganoff recipe I tried from another sparkpeople member (budgetmom).
I mix different mushrooms, like portabella and oyster. Can be served over regular egg noodles or eggless egg noodles to make it vegan. These can be found at stop and shop.
A thick and spicy soup with potatoes, bell peppers, and sausage, made with a blended vegetable base.

This main dish supper recipe is both economical and filling. The calories may be lowered by using fat-free or low-fat sausage. However, you will need to keep the bacon in order to utilize the rendered fat for cooking and seasoning.
