A twist on traditional stuffed peppers. These peppers are packed with flavor and a punch of spice, and are very satisfying. While not the lowest in calories, you could easily substitute turkey for beef, and use a lowfat cheese (or no cheese) if desired. This was somewhat of a "treat" made as is, and even so, is not an ENORMOUS emout of calrories considering the serving size.
In medium bowl, mix ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, and onions. form into golf ball sized balls, and place on pam-sprayed cooling rack on cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from rack and place in pan on stove over medium heat. Add soup, ketchup and worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in Sour cream and serve over brown rice or whole wheat "egg" noodles.
