Great Summer dessert (or snack) that's easy and fast to make. Kids love it and it's great for picnics or partys, (or anytime) with 63.7 calories and 0.5 grams of fat per 1/2 Cup serving, and that includes the whipped topping.
I got this recipe from Devin Alexander's "Fast Food Fix". That cookbook has kept me from some big mistakes...I made this for Mother's Day and it was a HUGE hit! I didn't get even one!
I was not thrilled about to make the dough the old fashioned way when I have a perfectly good bread machine so I put the machine to work :-)
I would not make these every day at a whopping 442 calories! Did you know that a cinnabon is 813 calories ?? But I think that for the holidays it is ok and especially if you want to impress.

I can't measure for anything so what I did was put down a towel on my work surface and inverted a baking sheet to roll out the dough on. It worked beautifully! I also used a spatula to spread the butter and filling. The filling is easier to spread when warm.*
These are some BIG rolls! I think next time I make these I am going to try adding some raisins and nuts or whatever else strikes my fancy.
Now don't forget to check your dough after 8 minutes, scrape down, and add water if needed.
This is a really easy dessert to make and take to a picnic that is low in calories unlike so many desserts. It is light and fluffy and can be made with almost any fruit and the corresponding yogurt that you desire.
I substituted 1/2 c. apple sauce(unsweetened)
for the 1/2 c. of veg. oil
I substituted 4 egg whites for 2 whole eggs
I used to make my smoothies with ice, using frozen berries makes it smooth and creamy!

This cake is great. Way better that Betty Crocker! Every family outing I go to if I don't bring this I AM IN TROUBLE!!!!

I changed the butter and sugar amounts slightly.
I make these for my kids holiday parties. Everyone loves them. Use between 5 and 6 quarts of popcorn. Nutrition info accounts for 6 quarts. I make them small (cupping my two hands).

This banana bread is lower in fat, but has a wonderful consistency. I use this recipe as a starting point, often reducing the sugar or replacing some of the white flour with whole wheat or oat bran.
This recipe was given to me by a friend. To make it healthier, I would substitute the sugar with Splenda. The butter could be substituted with a healthier substitute. I would also cut the portion size down from one dumpling to 1/2 of a dumpling.
