Chocholately, sweet, cool, tastey, & crunchy! This satisifies many of my cravings in one dish. The upside is I get, fruit, protien, & some healthy fat.
I use 50/50 Smart Balance Butter Blend Stick Regular with Omega 3 instead of regular butter. This recipe can make different numbers of servings depending on the size of cookie you want.
I modified this recipe on 03/25/2011 and cut the butter in half, still very tasty.
This is a light and easy desert, use any fruits that are in season. Do make sure that your fruit is fresh as this is what makes the dessert sweet.
Taken from Elana's Pantry recipe with honey substituted for agave nectar. Almond or your fave extract can be substituted as well. We have also used a flavored honey such as tangelo.
Banana Walnut Muffin Tops half whole wheat with ground walnuts, 1/3 of sugar is agave, applesauce replaces 1/3 of butter.
