This is a fabulous skinny take on traditional apple crisp. Plus, it's so quick and easy to make that your sweet tooth will be satisfied before you're tempted to head for the full-calorie versions in restaurants.
I serve this sometimes with frozen strawberries, sometimes with chocolate syrup, and sometimes with pound cake. It can be used like a custard sauce if you like. I find it much easier to make than traditional custard, which is usually thickened only with egg yolks.
This is made with a starter, like sour dough bread, but is not sour.

Calculations were made using all applesauce, plain soy milk, and sugar free pudding mix and without the optional ingredients.
I found a recipe for low calorie pumpkin muffins but the recipe called for Splenda. Living abroad I can't get splenda but I still like to make low calorie desserts. I've used plain sugar but have added the oat bran and applesauce and cut down on the milk from the original recipe to make these yummy low calorie muffins. If yiu want them a little sweetwe you can use 2/3 cup sugar and gain a few more calories or if you want them less sweet, 1/3 cup sugar is fine as well. I have cooked them each way and my personal preference is a 1/2 cup sugar.
These are great brownies that I found online - I'm not the author but I've had the recipe for so long Im not sure where I got it - Thanks whoever you are!
I eat this when I'm having a craving for something satisfying, creamy, and sweet. Great way to curb your craving for cheesecake! The ricotta cheese is already a sweet cheese and has a great texture. This is a light, low fat, tasty, and best of all-quick to prepare snack or dessert.

A yummy dessert that tasted EXACTLY like bananas foster. My favorite indulgence!
Family ice cream recipe. You can add flavors if you would like. Serving size is about 1 cup, maybe a little more. It is possible to use splenda, although I never have. Let me know if that works!
Hold on to your hats--this is a good one!
In my mind, there is no better pairing than peanut butter and chocolate. I have perfected the eating of the peanut butter cup---I take my time and eat all the chocolate first, and then eat the naked lump of peanut butter.
It's the little things make me happy. This pudding cake makes me happy!
So you should make it.
The directions sound complicated, but I know you can do it.
I used a 4-quart slow cooker, and the batter fit perfectly, and I was really happy with how thick the cake turned out. If you only have a 6-quart, I'd put an oven-safe casserole dish all the way into your slow cooker, and load the ingredients into it. If the cake puffs up and overflows a bit while cooking (I don't think it will), it's okay, because the goo will stay in your slow cooker.
