This smoothie is very healthy. It has a lot of fruits. It makes you have lots of energy for the day!
I have difficulty getting in enough calories and am vulnerable to binge eating late at night. I keep a healthy whipped snack on hand to stay on track. Cherries and walnuts help the body produce melatonin through the conversion of amino acids to brain chemicals (tryptophan to seratonin to melatonin). Drink as a late night snack, I keep the second portion for the next day.
When made this smoothie was a little on the thin side but that was okay with me, made this as a treat for myself on my birthday.

This recipe uses 1/4 cup of mix per 8 ounces of boiling water. The amount of mix can be adjusted to suit individual tastes. Fat-free or sugar-free coffee creamer may be used. I prefer to use chocolate flavored creamer, but any flavor can be used.
