A great alternative to jarred spaghetti sauce! Very easy to make and freezes well.
Decided to try a tomato Alfredo sauce so my whole family would like it. Sauce tastes great...have to see how it is after cooking!
This is a quick and easy-but very tasty!-dish I whipped up for lunch with on hand ingredients. The sauce is great for garlic lovers & the peppers add a nice, sweet flavor to it.
Add 2 cups warm water to Kitchenaide bowl. Dissolve 2 packages of yeast, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 cup of olive oil in the warm water. Add 2 cups of flour and mix with Kitchenaide using dough hook. Add aditional 3 1/2 cups of flour 1/2 cup at a time. Once all the flour has been added, continue to knead the dough with the Kitchenaide for eight minutes.
Divide the dough in half and press dough onto a pizza stone or into a pizza pan. Makes 2 large pizzas.
This yummy bread can be eaten with soup or pasta, and it makes a great sandwich bread.
Another frozen lunch I can pack for my husband and kids. Serve with a side salad with fat free balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
These are a little less fattening then a regular calzone and super easy and super yummy!
They are even better with Trader Joe's whole wheat dough. However, this takes a little more effort.
with meat and veggies. I only had lean ground beef, but would have used ground turkey or leanest ground beef for a lower fat version. Definitely will next time!
An unusual and simple pasta dish. The beans are cooked for a long time so that they can be twirled right with the pasta. The original recipe called for fresh tomatoes and beans but I streamlined it using canned tomatoes and frozen beans.
