This is my new go to fruit salad. SO yummy! Could not find purple grapes in the Spark Data base so the calorie count is off
I saw this recipe and modified it a bit. It's ok but not something I would eat on a regular basis.
Use whatever cheese you like and use herbs and spices to suit YOUR taste.
This may sound bad but it's really good. You may need to adjust the spicy-ness to suit your taste and make sure you use low fat/low sodium products.
I did not have the bouquet garni which calls for Fresh thyme, rosemary and bayleaf so I had to guesstimate.
This is my home made version of chicken soup when I don't feel good.
I also do not measure, I just cut up vegetables & spices and put them in the pot.
A recipe I found, you can change up the juices, use different carbonated beverages or add alcohol.
This is one of my old favorites...one that I have not had in quite some time. In it's original version, it has been a hit at many parties as well. I decided to try to come up with a healthier version and see what it came out to in calories. It is still definitely not something you could eat a lot of, but if you really have a craving or you need a quick item to bring to a party, this dip is definitely a great option!
I love pizza and the combination of ingredients that is found on a slice. I was hesitant when I first found this soup but boy was I surprised. All the flavor of pizza without the calorie and carb filled crust.
It's not an appetizer but a sandwhich, but there's not a good category for it (it's not vegetarian b/c of the au jus which has anchovy)
This recipe is the easiest ever...and works wonderful as a quick snack. Don't have time to chop and cut vegies for homemade soup? Try this for a quick fix!!
Mix all ingredients except bread. After mixed well dip bread and place on a well sprayed(Pam) griddle. Flip until toasted as desired. Add warm apple sauce.
This dressing makes me want to eat salad for every meal - I use the Whole Foods balsamic from the bulk section - its very thick, which I love, but you may want to add a bit of water to your dressing if you want to thin it out a little.
Makes about 12 quarts (48 1 cup servings) as stated so you need a large soup pot. Needs 8 cups of water to go with the dry soup starter mix.
Quick Soup that can easily be altered by changing the shrimp to chicken or by leaving it out all together. It can become a vegetarian dish by substituting vegetable broth for the chicken broth.
