I make these Tuna Sandwichs at least every week because they are so easy and very tasty. The Nutritional Facts were hard to understand on the Tuna can, so just use a 6 oz can (drained of course). I use a lot of pepper in mine so the teaspoon of salt and pepper can be changed to your liking!!! Also, you can change the Sweet Relish to Dill Relish if you would like. Sure hope you enjoy!!! :-)
This is a simple, and traditional casserole. By using 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom, you really reduce the fat and calories. You can also use reduced fat cheese (which I always seem to have a hard time finding).
I love krab salad from the deli but it has WAY too many calories and fat. So, i found a recipe on recipezaar and tweeked it to make it better for you. LOVE this. Makes 2 Servings.
This is a delicious tuna salad using 1/2 cup of regular mayonnaise, onion, and 1 cup of dill relish. Makes 7 cups of tuna salad--that's 14 servings of 1/2 cup!
This is a quick and easy lunch salad. The apple gives it a slight sweet tang without the sugary relish and works in a fruit!
An easy way to make a homemade spicy tomato sauce. You can substitute chicken or another source of protein for a more lean version. Pair is with sauteed spinach or a green salad to round out your meal.
The classic: Noodles, tuna, canned cream soup, cheddar, and crushed chips baked until bubbly.
A little fancied up Tuna Noodle Casserole. The horseradish can be upped or pared back depending on your taste
If you've tried the tuna rice stuffed peppers, you'll recognize the base here! It's leftover stuffing, sauteed in olive oil till golden brown. I'm serving it with Garlic-Spiked Broccoli and Mushrooms with Rosemary.
I found this recipe online, originally from aquaticcommunity.com. I had to add some olive oil to get it to cook without sticking, but switched the white bread for rice (would have used brown if we had any) and reduced the salt content significantly. Once the spice blend is mixed, it's a simple recipe. Absolutely DO heat the skillet on high until the oil begins to smoke. The recipe said leave it on high, but I had no trouble reducing it to medium high after adding the fish to the pan.
Addapted this from cooking light - i doubled the sauce to make it more appealing to the husband!
