I was looking for a yummy oatmeal bar recipe that is low sodium (for my boyfriend's "heart healthy" diet), but nothing appealed to me, so this is what I came up with.

These are surprisingly light-textured and moist. The taste is mostly of oats, pleasant and very slightly sweet, but kind of bland and not at all rich if you don't add anything to them.
This simple smoothie serves 2, and is very refreshing in the morning! (Also, great for when you are in a rush!)
I was looking for a banana bread recipe that would fit into my Weight Watchers diet. I couldn't afford the yummy, calorie filled regular stuff so I searched for recipes that would work. I got the base for this one from RecipeZaar, but tweaked it to make it even healthier and more flavorful!

This is a relatively fluffy no wheat bread. Based loosely on Elana's Pantry recipe.
the beans give it the texture without any difference! My kids had no idea it wasn't cream cheese. I would totally leave out the cream cheese next time. It didn't need it!
