A classic recipe with the calories calculated with the lighter version of Swiss Cheese and Cream of Mushroom soup. The original calls for Apple Juice or White Wine but I think Sherry is the best

This is my Nana's recipe with some adjustments to lower sodium, fat and sugar content. She was 1st generation Hungarian and was responsible for cooking up this and many other childhood memories for me and my family.
This was another recipe but I don't like having the same meat two meals in a row so I used chicken breasts that I chopped up instead of the ground turkey that the other recipe used. It was very easy to prepare and very good to eat. Not like the traditional pot pie from Stouffers but hey it works and it satisfied my comfort food need. I also changed the #of servings as the other recipe says this is to make 8 servings and it just was not quite enough to feel an unsatisfied stomach. I therefore would normally eat two servings as many others would. It is a full meal in itself and you don't need to add anything to it other than a glass of Ice Water and you are good to go.
Some days, and quite honestly, lately it's been most days, I don't have the energy to cook. So instead, in the morning before heading out, I chop up a bunch of veggies, throw them along with chicken breast together with some gravy and ketchup, and slow cook everything while I'm at work. This recipe is easy, hearty, and tasty. And perhaps best of all, super good for you since it's low fat, low calorie, and high in vitamin A!
