This is a refreshing springtime or summer salad. The dressing is very light. Makes a nice side dish or sometimes I eat it for lunch
Mix all ingredients well; add 1 x 12-oz package of coleslaw. Mix, refrigerate, enjoy.

The original recipe uses 1 jalapeno instead of the crushed red pepper and omits the cumin and garlic. I misread the recipe and blended my avocado the first time. I like it that way but if you wish, you can chop the avocado and make the dressing separately.
Deceptively simple, this is great to serve at a party or take to a potluck, as it's a wonderful tasting hit but much lower in calories than other picnic-type side dishes. The main purpose of the yogurt is to keep the fruit from browning, although it does add a nice flavor as well.
Healthy salad dressing for those that have systems that are sensitive to vinegar.
