These are yummy, kids love them, and are easy to heat and take in the car when you are running out the door. Great for snacks and dinner.
This is a recipe that we found in a very special ladies recipe box. I converted it to a low calerie desert.
This soup is wonderful on a cold winter night with a slice of foccacia bread
WLS friendly chicken cordon blue. The chicken comes out moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The cheese is hot and gooey. Serve with a side of steamed veggies and melon for a very satisfying, high protein meal.
this is my dad's recipe and he says that it doesn't turn out right unless you sing
Cool and refreshing - only 26 calories - no fat slushy/smoothie. This is loaded full of fruit & veggie, using cucumber, pineapple, and lemon. A cool twist of the normal yogurt drink. If you like cucumber, you will love this drink. You may add some sweetener if it is not sweet enough - although it tastes great without it.
This recipe is amazing and the fishies will be happier for it too.
Serve in a salad, sandwich, pitta or baked potato. YUM!
This cake is so moist and yummy! A must for those of us that have had RNY weight loss surgery and need a little taste of "normal" dessert.
What I like about this method of cooking potatoes, is that you get that roasted potato taste, from the stove. This is convenient, when I need the oven for something else-- plus, I think it's just plain fast!
I use a non-stick skillet with a tight fitting lid-- that way I don't need to use much olive oil.
Sometimes I use small Yukon Gold or red potatoes-- but I love fingerling potatoes that best.
Yummy vegetable soup. This makes a large quantity of soup for several meals and/or freezing.. I like to make this and eat it throughout the week for lunches and snacks. Also, there is always plenty to share with a friend's/neighbor's family.
