My husband accidentally brought home angel food instead of devil's food cake mix. I had planned to make another member recipe for pumpkin brownies... so, I played mad scientist! I whipped these up and was pleasantly surprised to have made a moist, cake-like/brownie-like/bread-like pumpkin surprise! They were really good--even my husband, who doesn't like pumpkin pie, let alone pumpkin-y things, loved it! With a little light whipped cream, it tastes just like pumpkin pie!
