An Italian favorite gets a below the border twist. Chef Meg made just a few tweaks before giving this one her seal of approval! She adds the spices early in cooking to help boost flavor and added a full pound of turkey for a more filling meal. Submitted by CHEF_MEG
This recipe is very tastey. You can add a lot of varitey to this one. Basically anything you would make a burrito with can go on and or into this recipe.
Many optional ingredients can be added such as spanish rice or regular rice as a layer on the beans.
Black sliced olives.
The use of Ground turkey or even cubed or diced chicken or fish or pork.
It can be topped with salsa or sour cream.
Here is the basic recipe that I aways start with.

Very filling super delicious, and SPICY!! You can tone down the spiciness by substituting plain Diced Tomatoes instead of ones with Green Chilies as I do.
Very easy to make & bake. I usually serve along with brown rice.Submitted by TLB1630
This lacto-fermented recipe makes about 2 quarts of fresh Kimchi. Kimchi can be used as a condiment for soups, salads, pastas, etc., or can be eaten by itself for breakfast alongside eggs. This recipe requires whey (preferably homemade). If you can't make whey or can't get it, you can substitute a little extra salt.
This recipe is taken from Sally Fallon's Nourishing Traditions. If you are interested in learning how to make your own whey, yougurts, creams, etc....check her out!Submitted by LADYZHERRA
This is a versatile flavorful recipe with no added fat. Beans are very nutritious and offer many health benefits. Refried beans can be used in many different ways. This recipe also freezes well. When reheating, add a little water to keep the beans from drying out.
