Make your own sausage for a healthier alternative to prepared, store bought sausage! I cut out most of the salt called for in this recipe for a low-sodium alternative. If you don't have an hour to let the spices meld, that's ok. Let them meld for as long as possible before cooking. They're tasty either way. Enjoy!

This is a recipe that I found in a magazine and adapted to be lower-calorie. I cut the meat with black beans (you can actually eliminate the meat and only use beans--it's still delicious), and used nonfat yogurt instead of sour cream.

This is cooked in a crockpot so throw it together and enjoy your day, can also be cooked on stove top simmered if prefer. My kids and hubby love this so much I make it at least once a week we top it with a little sour cream and some reduced fat shredded cheese along with a salad complete mealSubmitted by MSSBETTYBOOP6
This is a fast, easy, and flavorful rendition of a favored food - meat loaf. You buy cheap and common ingredients to prepare a healthy main dish. I generally serve this with a side of steamed broccoli, green beans or mixed veggies.
