I am not vegan, trust me, and when my vegan coworker brought these in I was skeptical. But man are they delicious! I edited the recipe a little (using applesauce instead of oil and almond milk instead of hazelnut) so feel free to amend. It is also easy to make gluten free! Here is the original recipe: http://greenswampsoup.com/2011/02/vegan-chocolate-cupcakes-with-hazelnut-cream-frosting/Submitted by KTIERNAN09
This recipe was adapted from a sugar cookie recipe by Stephanie on AllRecipies.com. It is extremely easy and so tasty! I added some lemon extract to bump up the taste, used half margarine and half butter, and used part whole wheat part white flour. The results were the best sugar cookies I have ever tasted! They are pretty low in calories and are great for cutouts, decorating with candies or sprinkles, or just plain.
Husband tested and husband approved - My husband tried them and had no idea there was whole wheat flour in them!Submitted by CD2415256
started with a dream of sugar free chocolate chip cookies...then for sf version of the double tree cookies...then protein found its way into the bowl too...
i adapted the recipe from the back of the sf chocolate chip bag. Submitted by THE_MAGGIE
These are great cookies to make if you're in a hurry and just to eat as a low calorie snack. They're very soft and have a great flavor. I make these all the time for my friends and it seems like I can never make enough!
I've also made them with sugar- free chocolate pudding and vanilla pudding and they're still excellent. Also, if you're looking for a little extra flavor, add half chocolate chips and half butterscotch chips or white chocolate chips. Submitted by LEH443
This is a recipe for basic fairy cakes. It makes about 15 buns, or 12 big ones!!
This picture shows them with buttercream. I cut a piece out of the finished bun, added a blob of jam, and then buttercream, and put the piece back on. You can decorate them any way you want to!!
These are vegetarian. You could make them with gluten-free flour to make them suitable for coeliacs!Submitted by DUALITY8
