This homemade alternative to store-bought granola bars, is a good source of protein, fiber and healthy fats. Tasty and so simple to make! A quarter cup of raisins (not included here) also make a yummy addition!Submitted by COACH_NICOLE
You won't believe how close these low carb peanut butter cookies are to the real thing! Creamy & full of peanut butter flavor, they'll hit the spot for your sweet-tooth cravings! Submitted by RUTABAGA1017
1 breakfast cup is 1 serving by calorie count, so have 2 or 3! Still low calorie breakfast.
My family loves the classic comfort foods, but with having to watch sodium, carbs, fats and sugars, we are finding healthy ways to remake the classics. Recipe is actually very easy, though I am very detailed in the description.Submitted by HLTHYLIVNCCJ
I love this recipe. I added spinach because I'm not much of a salad eater and it's a sneaky little way to get an extra serving of my veggies for the day. Believe it or not... you can't taste the spinach or even tell it's in there. I make a large batch all at once and save some in the fridge. I haven't tried it yet, but I bet you could also freeze them like a fruit pop.Submitted by PINKSEATURTLES
I love Chili's Southwestern Eggrolls. They have so much tasty stuff in them, but I hate the fact they are deep fried. I added more beans and corn and then put them in the broiler for crunch.
These are great made ahead of time and *frozen for a quick meal or a fun snack for the big game. I make a double batch so I can freeze some for later.Submitted by RONDARC
This is an adaptation of my favorite slow cooker chicken tortilla soup recipe. If you have the calories to spare, make some tortilla chips in the oven to eat with the soup and top with a bit of sour cream, cheese, avocado and anything else you like! It is very flavorful on it's own, though. Be sure to use high-quality enchilada sauce, as some brands can be greasy. I like to add other veggies in sometimes, such as carrots and squash.
