Slow cook all of these items over a double boiler. I typically take about 1/2 cup of the recipe to work and eat with fruit in the morning. Make it on the weekends and freeze in containers for work all week.Submitted by TAMARASART
Very good fresh spring quiche - we put in other variations of ingrediants depending on what we have on hand.
FYI - King Arthur Flour - unbleached all purpose is the best to utilize and mix with some rye or wheat if you want a little more whole grain.
You can also utilize different cheeses - grueyer, cheddar, parmesan, feta, etc whatever your tastes are.Submitted by TAMARASART
So fresh and yummy with new garden ingredients - Scallions, Parsley, and Spinach. If you want you can substitute frozen spinach about 4 ounces completely drained. Submitted by TAMARASART
These have a great flavor, the perfect amount of sweetness, and a nice, soft texture (be sure to use whole wheat PASTRY flour, not regular whole wheat!). Nutritious, too!
