Cookbook creator says: Instead of tomato puree or tomato paste - 1 can diced (italian) 1 stewed tomatoes (mexican). Black beans instead of kidney. Ground chicken or turkey (90+%). Cookbook creator says: Put in a dish inside presssure cooker and it was too thin (sauce) and chewy (pork). Next time cook pork alone on rack in pressure cooker so it is moist, then add heated sauce afterward so it is thicker.Submitted by SHEL2BE
When we were kids and lived in England, Shepherd's Pie was my "mum's" favourite dish to make ... and we all loved it. Then she made it with ground beef and pork; this is updated, less fatty, and with lower calories.
