In our house we eat a lot of deer. For starters it has way less fat than other meats and it is free because my husband deer hunts. Many people don't like the flavor of deer meat but when you add it with some ground beef you cannot even tell the difference. We have a garden so I have an overabundance of zuchinni and squash at this time. I have started throwing it in things to help use it up and add nutrition without calories for my family. This is one of those recipes. It is VERY low in fat and high in nutrients. It has 121.8 calories per 1 cup serving. It also has only .7 grams of fat per 1 cup serving.
