A sure family favorite! Make it the night before and pop into the oven when you wake up.
This breakfast is filling and colorful, a special protein & freggie-rich start to your special day. DON'T add salt, though! These have a great flavor, the perfect amount of sweetness, and a nice, soft texture (be sure to use whole wheat PASTRY flour, not regular whole wheat!). Nutritious, too!

Ditch the toaster pastry. They're loaded with sugar and fat--and not much else. My hand tarts are full of fruit, and if you make them ahead of time your kids can grab them and go.
