I was not really sure what category to put this under, as some vegetarians do not eat eggs.
So I will put it under chicken, even though I did not include it in the ingredients. However, it can be added, but it is not included in the nutritional info.
When I discovered how low in calories bean sprouts are, I just decided I had to figure out if I could make this. So I experimented and came up with this recipe! If you love egg foo young, this is for you! Very healthy and low in calories! It sould be served for any meal, but I enjoyed it for breakfast.Submitted by PATIENTSAM
I have been trying to find a *good* recipe for the crockpot for Thai chicken for about a year, and this one finally does it for me! It is a little thinner than Panang, but the flavor is the same. I serve this over jasmine rice.Submitted by KHARAHLYN
I found this recipe on about.com by Jolinda Hackett. I made these and they were absolutely delicious! The burger patty cooks formed, but just a note that when cooked, they will be a soft patty and not hard like a burger. Also, I used Goya Canned Pinto Beans, and I rinsed them several times with water in a mesh strainer to remove most of the sodium. I also used about 3/4 tbsp of butter to sautee the garlic, onions, scallions, and mushrooms, so the nutrition information has been adjusted to reflect the butter. (The original recipe sautees in vegetable oil)
*(I'm not a vegetarian, but I know that if you do use the vegetable oil for sauteeing, then it adheres to vegan dietary restrictions. Not too sure how the butter affects those standards, but just another little side note)*

I have had this recipe forever. It's been with me through many healthy meals. The carrots and zuchinni are shred finely so they are hidden from suspicious eyes. Great with monterey jack or parmesean cheese and some fresh green chili or jalapeno on top.Submitted by GRATEFUL4TODAY
