This is wonderful compared to McDonalds or Tim hortons mix, I have substituded splenda inplace of suger to lower calories, could be done with suger This is the base recipie I use..I plan on increasing the coffee& Cocoa & splenda to have a richer drink..( I am used to black coffee:) but is very awsome! This is a good start of a base that you could do with many other options( using flavored dry creamer, sugar instead of splenda, adding whipcream & drizzling chocolate like the high end coffee shops..) Cranberries are really good for you and milk is great for calcium. Add in a scoop protein powder or cottage cheese to up the protein content if needed. (not included in the nutriton count here).Submitted by MDANICARTER
Just use the above ingredients and ice to taste, I make it in a Magic Bullet so normally I Just fill a cup with ice and get it started. You can probably also use a blender as well.
NOTE if you let it sit for a minute or two it starts to settle so just mix it back up with a spoon and it tastes just fine.
I suppose the Hershey's syrup could be substituted for light syrup but I'm not sure.
Also (though I haven't tried it yet) I may put a tablespoon of peanut butter in next time!Submitted by DANADOODLYDOO
