*Minced garlic sauteed in a small amount of olive oil, before adding other ingredients and liquid, tastes better than using garlic powder
* Omit the salt as a matter of principle

This is the perfect nutritious pick-me-up. Leftover shake can be frozen in pop molds or 5 oz paper cups with popsicle sticks.
