This is a custard-like fruit dessert. You can use peaches, cherries, apples, or pears. The addition of ricotta gives it more substance, but you can also use 1 cup milk instead of the combination of milk and ricotta. I only use 1/4 cup sugar because I don't like it very sweet, but you can use more sugar or a combination of sugar and Splenda to keep the calories down.Submitted by ALIRA54
