This is a perfect meal when you feel the need to feel full. Add as much water as you'd like to make the serving larger without adding calories. I use 99% lean organic ground beef and serve it over lettuce wedges.Submitted by AGDIVA13
Grissini are easy to flavor: Add 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary to the dough. Or add freshly cracked black pepper, thyme, caraway or other spices or herbs. Or sprinkle the grissini with sea salt or other specialty salt just before baking.Submitted by MICAD09
There was a little place in Burlington VT called the 5Spice Cafe. That is where Gerard (my husband and the creator of this recipe) first bit into something with the 5Spice and itís been a favorite flavor of his ever since. It's great on pork, chicken, flank steaks and in dumplings. A little goes a long way so make sure you are using the right measurements. We are measuring in tsp (Teaspoons) here. You can always put it in, but you canít take it out. We use it here to replicate a little chicken-noodle stir fry love for the HCG and low cal kids out there.

If you are tired of eating the same thing day after day while in phase 2 of the hCG diet, this recipe is a nice break from the norm. It's nice and spicy and very filling.
