This is a great dairy free side dish or main course!
The preparation of the lentils is the longest step: they need to sit for 1 hour after boiling. This is an EASY recipe! It freezes wonderfully and the taste improves over time.Submitted by SAMANTHAV1MS
* Peanut Butter, smooth style, .33 cup (remove)
* Soy sauce (tamari), 2 tsp (remove)
* *Balsamic Vinegar, 1 tbsp (remove)
* Scallions, raw, 2 medium (4-1/8" long) (remove)
* Garlic, 2 clove
* Granulated Sugar, 1 tsp
* Rice Noodles, 224 grams

nice chili with warm spices. Very cheap too.
Can be eaten with rice (or rice mixed with some corn) but also on itself.

If you're looking for a meal with very low calories and lots of yummy veggies then this is definitely one to try!! You can eat tons and not feel guilty! It would be even better with some type of lean cuts of meat as well...chicken, beef or pork.Submitted by RDASKALOS
Rich and full of flavor, this dish is at its best when served over rice.
Delicious low fat vegan version of this ever popular Greek dish. Delicious served with a crisp green salad and a few black Olives! The tomato sauce makes enough for two dishes, I usually freeze the other half. The Nutritional information is calculated for the whole amount of tomato sauce - not sure what it would be using the amount for this recipe - but it's less.Submitted by TREEHUGGER73
