I worked for months and months to perfect a whole-wheat pizza dough, and I think I've finally found it. We love it, love it, love it! This makes enough dough for two large pizzas. We normally use one, freeze the other. To use the frozen one, thaw on the counter and then place in off oven on a pizza pan. Pour a recently boiled kettle of water in a roasting pan under the dough and close the oven. The warm, moist air reproofs the frozen dough.Submitted by MIGHTYFINEWINE
I tweaked a few recipes to create a low cal - low fat - low sugar banana bread that tastes good! Easy to make - and an easy indulgence that will allow you to fry it in light butter and still keep it under 100 calories!Submitted by TNOVEMBER
By nature of being vegan, this recipe is cholesterol free, though I suppose you could change that and use regular butter and milk instead if that's what you have on hand.
This is a plain recipe that will make a biscuit-like scone, but you can jazz them up with whatever you have around: cinnamon, blueberries, dark chocolate chips, etc.
