Perhaps it’s the lime dressing, which infuses the dish with flavor without overwhelming it in goo. It could be the quinoa, which has a distinctive nutty taste far superior to white rice and its lamer brethren. I was hungry and this is what I had to throw together. It's probably a basic chili recipe, with out the chili spices. I like tumeric. I buy organic when it's on sale because of the salt.
