One of my mother's family dishes. Makes a great single dish meal. It's a little spicy and different, but overall pretty healthy even though it has a stick-to-your-ribs feeling. 8 generous servings (about 2.5 cups).Submitted by WAIT4IT
This is just a trial I will update after I try it. FYI...I have little pans...Make twice as much for 9 inch pan. I use small round pyrex to make individual cakes. It only took about 30 minutes to cook it that way.

This is a recipe that my mom always made while I was growing up. It's become one of my favorite comfort foods.
Sorry Mom! I changed the recipe a little with low fat cream of mushroom and reduced fat sour cream.
