Until now I've only seen chocolate cake in a mug recipes, and so I figured I'd put one up for those who just don't like chocolate. Also, this recipe can be modified and you can add in anything that you want to.Submitted by DELILLE
These carrot muffins are made with applesauce instead of oil to help retain their moisture while lowering the fat content. Studded with pineapple and raisins, they would make a sweet treat for breakfast or an on-the-go snack.Submitted by AFRICAPARISH
Simple, yummy and creamy, this kid-friendly dish delivers a healthy serving of vegetables. Enjoy this entree with a mixed green salad as part of a weeknight dinner.
Keep cooked pancakes warm in a 200º oven while preparing remaining pancakes. For the best flavor, heat the maple syrup in the microwave at HIGH for 30 seconds.
My hubby isn't a breakfast guy, but he will gladly consume a smoothie every morning. The secret is the frozen banana! Otherwise, I mix it up every day and simply follow the basic formula of one cup fresh fruit + 1/2 c. frozen fruit and 1/2 frozen banana + 1/2 c. liquid. The liquid can be fruit juice or milk or even yogurt. When that bunch of bananas on your counter is starting to look sad, peel 'em, break in half and stick in the freezer so the secret ingredient is always on hand!Submitted by DOODLELOVE
This recipe sings of the fall and early winter harvest. This side dish is quite affordable: about 60 cents a serving for the vegetables!
I like things a little on the spicy side so this is my meatloaf. It has tons of onion and a load of flavor! You can cook it topped with additional ketchup or back it like it is. The only reason I made this is so I could figure out the calorie count but thought I might save others the trouble. Enjoy!Submitted by KERIBELLE
