this recipe requires a roaster chicken to be pre-cooked. I cook mine in the slow cooker, wait til it cools and then shred it and remove all the bones. I save all the juices and use this as a base for my soup.

Also, I use a lot of butter to start my onions and celery because I like butter. A normal person would probably use 1T olive oil, but I am far from normal :)Submitted by GOLDDUSTMOMMY
