This is a dish I learned to make many years ago when I lived in Connecticut. I had a roommate "Cindy" who said it was a food her Grandma used to make and of course bringing back the familaraity of home and Grandma you know it was comfort food to her. For me it contains noodles "Pasta" which is always comfort food to me. The cabbage makes it look like there is allot of food on your plate and mixed with noodles even more.
