Frozen Pudding Recipes

These are great to take the place of icecream on a hot summer evening. Not hard to prepare!

Make a batch and keep in the freezer for quick summertime snack or dessert.

Very low fat. This resembles ice cream once it's frozen, but has more protein because of the cream cheese, and doesn't require an ice cream maker - it comes out quite smooth just from the initial blending. Feel free to up the cinnamon and chili powder to taste; I sometimes use twice as much of each.

These are great treats for kids and adults. I make these with my children and they love making them as well as eating them!!! I use 2% milk because of my kids but if you want to use skim go for it....great way to shave a few extra calories. I also calculated it for chocolate and vanilla pudding but any fat free pudding works great!

Jello fat-free chocolate pudding. Substitute fat-free vanilla soymilk for skim milk. Very satisfying and a good amount of protein, only 100 cals per serving and very yummy.

Muscle Power! Get a double dos with quick-digesting whey protein mixed with slower absorbing casein protein. This dessert reminds me of the decadent pies my granny used to make!

A "twist" from traditional pie and lightened-up, this version is frozen but spooned from container like a thick, rich pudding!

Very simple, but a cheap alternative to the Skinny Cow ice cream treats. At my local grocery store, they are about $6.49 per box of 6 ice cream bars. Instead, I just freeze a cup of pudding and it tastes basically the same and for less calories.
