This is a creamy chicken sauce made without any canned cream soups. The butter is the best for the taste an makes a nice sauce. Oil is ok but does not have the effect as the butter.
Please note that you cannot replace the butter for cooking spray, It is needed to mix in with the flour.
Makes lots of sauce and is good with pasta or rice.
This is an easy, healthy lentil soup. I listed he grams I used along with the measurements but the calories are calculated using the grams. This makes about 3 litres or so depending on how much water cooks down etc. The 12 sevings are equal to 1 cup or 250 ml.
The spices I used can be varried and you can add different ones as you like. I sometimes add more spices while it is cooking and we like a bit of heat so I add some chilli flakesas well. Some people leave out the cinnemon but it is traditional to use it. You can use some chopped celery as well when you are cooking the onions.
This is a soup so you don't need to use the exact amounts of ingredients listed.
Soup makes a great snack in between meals for about 100 cals per cup! Lentils are very filling and have lots of fiber.
A sqeeze of lemon really brings out the flavour.
Nice light soup that is well before a mean or with your lunch and fast and easy to make! Non-fat.
No fat, no sugar "ice cream". Really does taste like ice cream! It is quite filling too since whipping it in the food processor adds a lot of air into the ice cream.
One banana is good for 1 or 2 people.
There is a pancake that is healthier than your average pancake; ther is no refined flour in it. VERY easy to make you will wonder why you ever bought pancake mix! The cream of wheat gives it a very nice texture. This recipe would be perfect for someone on Weight Watcher's Core program. Makes 2 large pancakes.
