Definitely not low-cal but all right in moderation!!
Definitely not the healthiest version (compared to others I have seen on SP). But it's very close in taste to the real thing (without needed a side of heart surgeon afterwards!!) Good for a once-a-week lunch treat.
Great for dipping spring rolls or pouring over a stir fry. A bit spicy - you can adjust the chili flakes to suit your own taste.
A fun dessert! Great for kids' parties.
Instead of butter, use this to top your baguette. In lieu of bread, I like to bake thick zucchini strips and top them with this.
A great vegetarian option for lasagna (when you have too much zucchini to deal with like me!). The quinoa adds protein. You can make this vegan by swapping the cheese with soy cheese.
I only drink this during cold/flu season. It always clears the airway and makes breathing/sleeping a lot easier. I don't use this with my kids though!! Do not drive after drinking this.
This is the soup I turn to when cold season hits!
A quick and easy lunch for work!
My kids love this and have absolutely no idea there's hidden veggies ;)
My daughter is allergic to peanuts so I substituted the peanut butter in the original recipe with "School Safe Wow Tastes Just Like Peanut Butter Soy Nut Butter". Can't tell the difference!
Ooey gooey goodness - definitely a ONCE IN A WHILE indulgence!
Makes 12 large, very filling cookies. These would even be great for breakfast!
Prep the chicken in the morning and slice the peppers/onion before work and this dish will take literally minutes to cook when you get home!
The leftovers are even better the next day!
Makes 6 servings, not 4!!
When I was a teen, my mom would make these for my friends after a sleepover. Needless to say, my house was always the "sleepover house". These super fluffy pancakes are very filling - one is enough!
Easy slow cooked goodness!
Note: If you are not eating these right away, store in a plastic container that has been lightly sprayed with vegetable oil spray (otherwise rice paper will stick together).
I saw this on an episode of "Cook Yourself Thin" - my entire family loved it!
We make this for our birthdays. You can serve it with fresh berries and Cool Whip Free. Another good variation: cut the top half off, hollow out bottom half and fill with lemon pudding.
Serves well warm or cold. Great ending to a holiday meal!
This super-fast super-yummy recipe is loved by all in our family.
For a mere 276 calories, you get a hearty and very tasty meal.
My husband's favourite!
Craving that big fried chicken crunch without all the fat and calories. Try this chicken! My kids actually prefer it to a certain popular fried chicken restaurant :)
This delicious pie bursting with blueberry goodness actually is housed in a low fat yogurt crust.
