In looking for new ways to serve low calorie vegetables without oil and meat, I made up this recipe using Tomato paste, water and spices as a soup base instead of a soup broth. Low in sodium and very tasty and extremely filling.
This is a great alternative to eating a shelled taco. I don't recommend you eat it often but 1 time per week might be okay. If you are taking hCG you would replace the 1 tbsp of milk you are allowed and replace it with the 1/4 tbsp of reduced fat sour cream. Salsa isn't permitted but 1 tsp didn't seem to make a difference for me.
This is a meal and it is great to make in advance - freeze or have in fridge for a couple of days. It is incredibly filling and very hard to eat the entire serving. This is phase 1 protocol compliant if you can mix vegetables.
This is a great salad for on the go. You can make it in the morning and have it for lunch or make it for a take with you dinner. (Phase 1 protocol compliant if you don't have trouble mixing vegetables. Be sure and add your fruit choice.
This is a great salad for on the go people during phase 1 of the protocol. You can make it ahead of time and it will wilt.
This is a sweet vinegar dressing that is great for use in the hCG phase 1 protocol.
This really tastes like cheese burgers and only takes about 30 minutes to prepare. You could substitute turkey burger and reduced salt chicken broth.
I made this as a variation of Carolina Coleslaw Family Recipe. Very tasty, everything you love. I adjusted the recipe for the changes in the dressing.
I have been working hard to modify my old favorites into low carb dressings. This is great on Cabbage, Lettuce, and Spinach, Hot or cold. Also Great on Chicken.
This is a great substitute for Mashed Potatoes. I usually use the reduced fat cream cheese.
