This requires a little bit of advanced preperation, but if you love these as much as I do, you can make larger batches of french press coffee concentrate to freeze.
These aren't exactly "healthy", but they're the closest I've been able to come to the brand I love so much from my local Grocery store...which just so happen to be 580 calories!!! These are a little less than half of that, clocking in at 289 calories! They allow me to enjoy a favorite, for far less calories!
This is one of my favorite salads---You get dried blueberries AND goat cheese for under 250 calories! You just can't beat it! Sweet, creamy, astringent...mmmm.
A flavorful, yummy Thai-inspired Stir Fry. Lots of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fat...with just 333mg of sodium! Not bad for Asian cuisine! To drop some calories, reduce the amount of sesame oil and ditch the peanut pieces (although I consider that to be one of the highlights of the meal). With all the veggies and protein, you will definitely stay full off just one portion!
Lots of Protein!
Pasta, Cheese, Beef...and all for 320 calories per serving!
Something easy and simple to whip up on a weeknight. You will have most of the ingredients on hand, so its a great last minute meal.
Smashed Potatoes are a spin-off on my hubby's favorite: Twice baked potatoes. These come together in a pinch, are more than half the calories, and taste delicious.
Most ingredients you will have on hand for this simplified version of apple crisp. Lots of Fiber!
Very Dense and Surprisingly Satisfying! Their small size, but high energy-level means that you should only eat 1-3 at a time. Makes a great compliment to a glass of skim milk! Man and Kid Friendly!
