Protein bites to have on hand at the gym, for a healthy snack, etc.
Below I list the ingredients from the original recipe and from adaptations my mom and I made. The nutrition information is from the adapted lighter recipe.
I made this up combining and altering two main recipes. They are pretty good and taste wheat/nutty.
This is an adaptation of a recipe using a brownie mix. I did not have a mix and wanted to try the recipe, so made the brownie base from scratch and then added the yogurt, pumpkin, baking soda, oat bran and changed half of the oat bran to fiber one ground. I loved them! And the are 0-1 point each with the WW system.
I had to add 1/4 to 1/2 cup more flour, likely because I was loose in measuring the banana, so it was too much and the dough too sticky. But they turned out GREAT.
Using blueberries picked TODAY (July 2008) during Michigan blueberry season.
Taste great served warm, with brownie type texture
adapted from recipe already on Sparkrecipes
This is a slightly adapted recipe from a candida cleanse recipe website that my husband and I have enjoyed, even though he doesn't typically like cabbage! It is not TOTALLY sugar free, but only 1.8 grams per serving, or less depending on the tomato juice you use.
These carrot muffins are made with applesauce instead of oil to help retain their moisture while lowering the fat content. Studded with pineapple and raisins, they would make a sweet treat for breakfast or an on-the-go snack.
Also good with Pillsbury Reduced Sugar Chocolate Frosting; Can also use carob chips, which saves a little on calories, fat and sugar.
Serving tips: Spoon couscous/chicken mixture onto dinner plates and then sprinkle with feta cheese and olives.
*Serving tip: You could fix this along with Spanish or yellow rice. Great as a dip with chips or a main dish! Easy to make when having guests!! Enjoy!
Awesome vegan pizza! You won't even miss the cheese.

These cupcakes are easy to make, and because simple ingredients are used, it's best to purchase premium cocoa powder and dark chocolate. Since they're studded with dark chocolate chunks, just dusting them with powdered sugar is enough to decorate these treats. Bake them in muffin cup liners. A dozen of these are a terrific holiday treat to bring to coworkers at the office.
