My original recipe called for 2# ground turkey but thanks to my brothers hunting skills I have a freezer full of nice lean antelope meat so I went half and half. It cuts the gaminess of the antelope.
I am a savory breakfast kinda person. I don't care for cereal, pancakes, or waffles. So I was pleasantly surprised by a recipe I saw on Girl Meets Farm with Molly Yeh. I haven't tried it yet but I will be.
The original recipe called for raisin nut bran cereal. I only had raisin bran so I added nuts.

Great one pot meal. A package of Shirataki noodles keep the calorie and fat content so low on this tasty soup you can go ahead and have that second serving.
Great with or without the ham.
