This recipe came from Cooking Light magazine. It calls for beef, but I have venison on hand. I also don't add the tsp of salt. Use fat free beef broth. I couldn't find fat free beef broth in the food finder.
I like to make this with peas added. It's an easy, make ahead meal that can be put in the oven 30 minutes before dinner time.
Good with chopped chicken too.
My youngest, who is picky, likes this!
Tasty slow cooker recipe. Good with mashed potatoes and sauce as gravy.
