Made this years ago with Cabmpbell's Creamy Chicken Verde Soup, which they apparently don't sell anymore. So here's how to do it today.
This got a lot of positive attention when I made it for the ‘rents, my grandmother and my DH. Everyone loves this! Make sure the potatoes are thinly sliced and that they stay under the chicken to absorb the juices from the salsa and cheese or they will be underdone.
Nutritional Information for steak is on the high side – some flour, buttermilk and eggs are left over & not all the oil is absorbed. As the chef suggested, I assume about 250 cals each
Rice isn’t included in the nutritional information because you can use whatever you like best – white, brown, etc. IN the past we used the Steamfresh chicken flavored rice with a sprinkle of soy sauce mixed in.
Hubs & I both think this is a spectacular meal. Hubs actually gets one the serving and I get half to ensure he gets his protein in.
Nutrition assumes that you have about 1/2 a cup of marinade left over which is thus not consumed. If you have more or less, you'll want to make a modification of the recipe
Oldie but a goodie. Nutrition info uses stevia instead of sugar since that's my favvvvvvvvvvorite.

I'd recommend using tastier cans of beans, more tomatoes and more flavorful cheese. But this is what I had around.
