I'm pregnant and had a craving for a milk shake. I made this one healthy as I could! It is high in calcium, protein, vitamin D, potassium, b-vitamins and many other nutrients. It would be a great food to help reduce cramps and charley horses, improve weight gain, increase muscle mass, and build a healthy baby. It beats the chemical laden Boost or Ensure Supplements! Just don't eat too much sugar often.
We've started eating this meal at least once a week since it is so easy and complete nutrition. It is high in protein, healthy fats, vitamins and minerals and tastes delicious. It's even Grain Free. A vegan or vegetarian could substitute the chicken for beans mixed with the sauce , although it wouldn't be as savory.
