A recipe i found on www.joyofbaking.com I added pecans to it and changed the regular flour with whole wheat flour. I used organic sugars and the baking soda and baking powder can be replaced with the low sodium or sodium free versions. I liked them so well that I wanted to share them.
A recipe handed down from my Grandma Maddocks. This was my dads favorite and so it was named for him. Love and miss you both!!
I threw this together and my family loves it!! We love garlic so if youre not a big fan reduce that by a bit. Te red wine was from a box wine. The black olives are not in the nutrition calculations. You can add a tsp of sugar, splenda or stevia to help with acid content.
