. wash fruits. remove seeds and put them in a tea strainer. chop the kumquats and the lemons, put them in a large bowl with the tea strainer and cover with water, not too much just cover the fruits. Cover and keep in cool place 2 days. Pour in a large pot with a thick bottom and cook for an hour, stirring now and than. Add sugar, taste and cook for another 45 minutes. Separetely sterelize the jars. pour jam in the jars and enjoy.
