Easy, delicious, low calorie, filling soup that can be made in the slow cooker or on the stove top. Cooking times will vary for each method. Other ingredients can include chopped turnip greens or chopped Kale. Can be served over rice or with optional, avocado cubes, dollop of sour cream, or T of fresh salsa on top but these items are not included in recipe or calorie count. Great to serve on a cold afternoon or evening. Leftovers freeze well.
My favorite. Its very easy and not too sweet or dry. Perfect with cream cheese or butter and honey. Also good for a dessert with frozen yogurt
