Adapted from All Recipes.com. I place the chicken on a small bed (1/4 cup) of brown and black rice. This is medium spice level.
The flavors of the mango and veges blend wonderfully with the steak, cheese and raspberry dressing. A definite dinner pleaser to the palate.
Increase the nutritiousness of the typical crab cakes recipe by substituting avocado for mayonnaise and decrease the bread filler and add more veges instead. Carrots could also be added or any other vegetable you enjoy.
A tasty lunch time menu. Serve it with baked pita chips and green grapes for a perfect noontime meal. (My husband also likes a slice of onion in his sandwich.)
My husband enjoys a fast food breakfast sandwich but the calories and fat are so high that they are off our list. He asked if I could come up with a satisfying substitute and this one hit the mark!
An easy way to us left over catfish as a side dish or for lunch, similar to a rice bowl. Add Indian spices to taste.
